About Us

At TCS, our 100-acre campus and state-of-the-art facilities provide enriching spaces for our students to realize all that's possible. Students can discover new areas for growth and focus on personal interests across our robust and connective academics, arts, athletics and service learning programs. Day (Grade 5-12) and boarding (Grade 9-12) families alike realize that our campus is 100 acres of home, where our students quickly become a close-knit, extended family. Students in our care are surrounded by dedicated teachers, advisors, coaches and house staff to provide the right amount of challenge and encouragement along the way. We are inspired by the belief that healthy habits and universal values developed now go a long way in developing confident and caring global citizens who are ready to make a positive impact wherever their journey takes them.

Our boarding community is comprised of 280+ domestic and international boarding students living and learning together with 200 local day students. Whether you’re a boarding or day student, you’ll benefit from the stronger connections and holistic experience that life on a 24/7 campus entails - as well as having all of the amenities, resources and supports you need close by. Weekends on campus are meant to be an opportunity to further develop the habits of the hearts and minds, outside of the classroom, through cultural excursions, social functions, community events, as well as athletics, arts and service opportunities.

Academics 

TCS offers an impressive breadth and depth of academic courses and electives, so you can discover new interests and go deeper into the ones you love. Our educators are experts in their fields, who care about your development and will inspire you to realize all that’s possible. Our academic program, modelled on a liberal arts philosophy, is collaborative, rich in discussion and writing-intensive. With over 120 courses offered, students can explore new pathways and concentrate studies in areas of personal interest. In Grades 9 and 10, students participate equally in arts and sciences, while those in Grades 11 and 12 begin to specialize as they plan for university, and many take options from our 17+ Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

Our variety of co-curriculars across athletics, arts and service offers students the opportunity to try something new and go deeper with what they may already love.
