As Canterbury’s fifth Headmaster, now in my 26th year, I have never been more proud of our outstanding faculty, excellent programs, and up-to-date facilities. Our culture is steeped in tradition but the classroom experience is on the cutting edge with faculty using current technology but maintaining the crucial faculty-student relationships that form the foundation of our community.

The Canterbury experience is a rich one for both boarding and day students, and the community is made more diverse by students from around the globe. Through an active community service program our students and faculty are constantly involved in serving others outside the Canterbury community.

Each and every day our faculty inspire our students to reach their full potential, whether in the classroom, on the athletic field or through involvement in the arts, co-curricular and extra curricular activities. This dedication in our diverse and embracing community ensures that each of our graduates will leave us as individuals of character and well prepared to take on the challenges in college and beyond.
