More about
Admiral Farragut Academy
Admiral Farragut Academy is a co-ed, independent Prekindergarten (starting age 3!) thru 12th grade day school that offers boarding for national and international students in grades 8-12. With students from an average of 32 countries and 17 U.S. states, our global school creates the opportunity for your child to study and connect with students from all over the world. Students also benefit from unique academic programs like Aviation, Marine Science, Scuba, Sailing, Engineering, and Naval Jr. ROTC. Our graduates succeed in college as organized, accountable, self-disciplined, and respectful critical thinkers who understand that dreams and hard work go hand in hand. Admiral Farragut Academy provides a college preparatory environment that promotes academic excellence, leadership skills, and social development within a diverse community of young men and women. Admiral Farragut Academy's core values form the foundation on which our students, faculty, staff, and alumni perform, educate, and conduct themselves. We use these practices every day in everything we do. Our faculty and staff are committed to helping our students on their journeys of self-discovery by modeling integrity, self-discipline, perseverance and wellness while preparing them for 21st century challenges within a global society. Farragut is a gated community in a family-friendly neighborhood with 24/7 campus security. All campus gates are locked after 10:30 p.m. The dormitory has alarmed doors between the male and female dorms. Approximately 20 Residential Life Staff members live in their own rooms within the dormitories and monitor the dorms at all times. Additional faculty and staff live in apartments or houses, which are not located in the dorms but are on or directly next to campus.
